Bio (click to expand) As a staff reporter-turned-freelance journalist, Anna Pratt, who lives in Minneapolis, Minn., has ventured into garbage houses, spent the night in a homeless shelter and witnessed a fistfight in a church basement, all for various stories. Her byline has appeared in the Star Tribune, The Line, the Southwest Journal, the Minnesota Independent and several suburban and community papers, web publications and broadcast media in the Twin Cities. Pratt is active with the Society of Professional Journalists' freelance community and she serves as the treasurer for the award-winning Minnesota Pro Chapter of SPJ.

Mia Taylor is a former daily journalist with more than a decade of writing, editing and reporting experience developed at major metropolitan newspapers. Her experience includes working as a reporter in Massachusetts, Georgia and California. She spent two years at one of the largest newspapers in the nation - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution - covering a variety of topics including politics, government, trends, current events and breaking news. She has covered national and international stories and has traveled extensively throughout her career - writing a series of stories about the brutal rape and murder of a Braintree, Massachusetts resident, about casualties from the war in Iraq and about international destinations such as Vietnam, Morocco and Turkey. Currently Mia lives in San Diego, California and is working as a freelance writer. Her specialties include news, in-depth features and travel stories. She is a graduate of Emerson College's print journalism program, and is currently pursuing her master's degree in journalism and media studies.
