Mia Taylor is an award-winning journalist with more than a decade of writing, editing and reporting experience developed at major metropolitan newspapers and online news organizations. Her experience includes working as a reporter in Massachusetts, Georgia and California. She spent two years at one of the largest newspapers in the nation - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution - covering a variety of topics including politics, government, trends, current events and breaking news. She has covered national and international stories and has traveled extensively throughout her career - writing a series of stories about the brutal rape and murder of a Braintree, Massachusetts resident, about casualties from the war in Iraq and about international destinations such as Vietnam, Morocco and Turkey. For the past three years, Mia has worked as a contributor for TheStreet.com and MainStreet.com. Her specialties include travel, in-depth features, luxury lifestyle, and the sharing economy. She is a graduate of Emerson College's print journalism program, and has a master's degree in journalism and media studies.
