Presently I am editor-host of TheAndersonReport.com, a non-profit news Web site.
I feed news and information to five area newspapers and three radio stations in northwest Wisconsin.
My broad reporting covers local, state, national and international events.
International: In 2007 I covered the war in Iraq, as an embed reporter with a Wisconsin National Guard unit.
National: In 2008 I covered the Republican National Convention, and the Dali Lama’s US visit in Madison, Wis.
State: In 2007 I broke the state-wide story of the illegal selling of public-lake lands; it was updated and reprinted in 2008.
Local: In addition to news reporting, I write a regular opinion column covering many issues. The award-winning column is published in the Inter-County Leader.
I have worked on staff at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. I have freelanced with the Dallas Morning News and Rocky Mountain News. My freelance work has appeared in several newspapers around the country.
I have a BS in Journalism, Texas Christian University, 1984.
I am the former contractor-owner of Anderson and Associates Construction (Los Angeles).
I am "retired" and live with my lovely wife on a beautiful lake in Wisconsin.
