Work has previously appeared: Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper

I am a Chilean/American now residing in Santiago, Chile, seeking a new life and new opportunities. I lived in the United States for 18 years, nine of which I worked in the newspaper industry doing reporting, photography, designing, blogging and copy editing. I am optimistic, a go-getter, a story seeker and I have a profound interest in people of all cultures, and also diverse subjects – from health to science to politics. My experience in reporting mainly took place in Mississippi, where I worked in the Delta ( the United States’ poorest region and a very interesting place indeed), and in Northeast Mississippi. I wrote some news, some politics, some breaking news, but I mostly I wrote about people. Although I have not done much reporting in some time, I absolutely love writing.
(I have examples of my work in PDF formats)
