Work has previously appeared: Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper, National Magazine, Local/Regional Magazine, Trade Magazine, Local Radio, Online Trade Magazine, Newsletter

I've been an Austin-based freelance journalist since 1999, writing about home & design, health, fitness, travel and business.

My specialty is consumer-driven, actionable, service journalism stories that are well-packaged and easy to read.

My work has appeared in the Austin American-Statesman, Luxe Texas, Luxury Living, Luxe Colorado, Austin Woman, Texas magazine, Women's Running, and the American City Business Journals chain of newspapers.

I've written stories on Texas travel for Texas Monthly and Sherman's Travel, and frequently work on assignment for several custom publishers. Besides SPJ, I'm also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Editors and the Austin host for Mediabistro events.
