Work has previously appeared: National Daily Newspaper, Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper, National Magazine, Local/Regional Magazine, Newsletter, Web Log, Book Publishing

My award-winning columns, features, and personal essays have appeared in over 60 national magazines and newspapers, including Reader's Digest, Better Homes & Gardens, Detroit News and Free Press, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Sacramento Bee, Christian Science Monitor, and more.

My personal "Life Lines" column (Daily Tribune, Royal Oak, MI) won a Best Local Column award from Michigan Press Association's Better Newspaper Contest. My book of columns and essays, "Writing Home," was awarded by Writer's Digest and Midwest Independent Publishers Assoc.

My views and reflections on midlife topics are featured weekly in my new "Midpoint" column (Community Lifestyles; Rochester, MI), as well as biweekly on 50-something Moms Blog, where I am a nationally syndicated blogger.

My goal is to provide first-rate material that will inspire, inform, and uplift my readership -- and to balance the hard news of the day.
