I am a widely published freelance writer of news stories, people profiles, feature articles, book reviews, op-ed pieces, essays and travel articles. My recent credits include:

 An op-ed piece in The Washington Post, which was picked up by nearly two dozen daily newspapers nationwide
 A travel article in The Boston Globe
 A profile of Yale President Richard Levin for Connecticut Magazine

I also write a weekly business feature for The Hartford Courant. Other credits include Newsweek, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Several pieces have been reprinted in anthologies and text books.

Among the people I have profiled are journalist Morley Safer, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, author Dominick Dunne, and tennis player James Blake. In 2007 and 2008 I received two firsts and a second from the Connecticut Chapter of SPJ for magazine articles, including one on global warming.
