Christine Dinsmore is an award-winning reporter who writes about women, children, human rights and international affairs. She is a featured political columnist for InsideOut, a regional magazine. Her professional life has spanned several fields including education, psychology and journalism. A commitment to equality and justice informs her work. She has written about gay and lesbian homeless teenagers, job discrimination against women diagnosed with breast cancer and the questionable ethics of paying street kids to be HIV-tested in a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention research project. She received a Project Censored Award for exposing the systematic loss of women’s reproductive rights through Catholic and secular hospital mergers.
