I'm a freelance writer in St. Augustine, Florida, who writes a weekly humor column for the St. Augustine Record and is editor of Flagler College's alumni magazine, Flagler Magazine. I also advise the student newspaper at Flagler College. I was most recently published in Scholastic's Parent and Child Magazine, and have won several awards over the years for the alumni magazine, as well as from the Florida Press Association during my eight years as a reporter and editor at The Record and the Jacksonville Business Journal. One of those awards was for feature writing during one of two assignments in Cuba for The Record. I am a former news editor at The Record.

My focus is on humorous essays, but I also write profiles, general news features and other stories. I'm very well connected in Northeast Florida, and can handle stories including in Jacksonville, Florida.
