Ann Babe is an independent journalist who covers international development, marginalized communities, and identity. She has reported on the ground from sub-Saharan Africa on fellowships from the International Women's Media Foundation and the International Reporting Project, as well as from across Europe, Peru, and her birthplace, Korea. In her work, she likes to explore national, ethnic, and cultural identities as they intersect with issues like politics, public space, migration, and social innovation.
