Work has previously appeared:

I'm an award-winning writer who specializes in storytelling, with topics including health and fitness; business, entrepreneurship and real estate; travel; and arts and entertainment. My work has appeared in publications including The Washington Post, Entrepreneur, Running Times, Women's Running and The Center for Public Integrity. Before moving to the Washington area as a freelance writer in October 2008, I spent six years mining rural Florida and Maryland for everything from breaking-news stories to Sunday narratives for daily newspapers. I've covered hurricanes, wildfires, elections, murder trials, municipal government, business news, national championship games and small-town festivals, all with equal aplomb.
