I'm a 22-year-old senior at the University of Florida, and I love the Gators. I'll be earning a bachelors degree in journalism with a minor in leadership at the end of June 2007. When I'm not writing, I spend most of my time playing softball or football and driving my camaro. I hope to eventually work as a feature writer or freelancer. I'm currently a feature writer intern at The Gainesville Sun in Florida, and I'm also a resident assistant on campus at UF. I enjoy reading novels, books -- signs and cereal boxes. I'm confident, hardworking, independent and motivated. I've done freelance work for Tampa Bay Newspapers Inc. and The Independent Alligator. I've also been published in The New York Times and most recently The Gainesville Sun. Writing is my romance, and my passion is to use it to help others find their voice.
