Steve Coomes is a restaurant industry veteran who changed careers to write about the field in 1991. He has written for and edited dozens of foodservice publications including Pizza Today Magazine (editor-in-chief) and PizzaMarketplace.com (senior editor). He is now a freelance writer and contributing editor to Nation's Restaurant News magazine (trade), a weekly columnist for The Courier-Journal (daily newspaper, Louisville, KY., dining section) and a restaurant critic for Louisville Magazine.
