Work has previously appeared: Daily Newspaper, Community Newspaper, Local/Regional Magazine, Trade Magazine, Web Log

A 10-year veteran of the newspaper world, Patrick has covered everything from school boards to city governments to crime and courts. He has been published in regional magazines and even helped contribute to a test preparation book. Patrick has received multiple awards throughout his career, including the prestigious Peter A. Lisagor Award from the Chicago Headline Club for a series he penned about unsolved murder and missing person cases. He is hoping to turn the subject of that series into a book. On a daily basis, Patrick now writes for local and regional daily newspapers, and is looking to break further into writing for national magazines and Web sites.
