My real love is writing features. Journalism allows me to meet people and do things I never would with another career. Writing about people with one-of-a-kind personalities, talents and histories is my strength. One of the most rewarding moments for me is when they open up and tell you something you never expected. I've covered education in central Kentucky for more than three years, including K-12 and higher education. I've been on staff at daily and weekly newspapers, on planning and zoning, public health and city government beats. I'm open to anything, anywhere, hard news or features. Honestly, I just love to write.
