I am a former award-winning journalist, now a freelance writer and editor. I help companies, organizations and individuals tell their stories.
I'll help you flesh out your content into a workable story that fits your budget and timeline. Then, I'll polish and edit your story to be effective and reach your target audience. I've learned that no matter what you write, you must remember your audience.
I've been a writer since high school and haven't stopped since. The topic doesn't matter. To be effective, it's all about how the story is told. That's where my passion lies. I always want my writing to get an emotional reaction, to wake someone up to a new way of thinking or acting. To make a difference.
Accuracy and ethics are two keystones of my career. My skills have changed as technology evolved. Now, I write and edit, but I also blog, tweet and use social media, WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite content management systems effectively.
I'm also one of those people who gets annoyed when they see a mistake in a sentence or a misspelled word. I've been known to correct tweets, emails and text messages. I think if someone is writing something, they should do it right. I constantly strive to produce excellent sentences, paragraphs and stories.
