SPJ President Neuts' statement on passing of ESPN's Stuart Scott

INDIANAPOLIS – Journalism lost a well-respected, inspirational member of its community today with the passing of Stuart Scott. Twenty years ago, he helped create a new way to discuss and analyze sports. Since then, he has inspired so many young journalists to follow their dreams. SPJ is saddened by his passing and sends its deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
