International Kudos

I have gone through the president’s column “SPJ improves and protects journalism – at home and abroad” (November/December 2009) in Quill, and I am very much inspired by the global perspective of Kevin Smith. His thought- provoking ideas would drive the profession toward global networking. I wholeheartedly endorse his idea of spreading SPJ to almost every country. As journalism has developed into a global phenomenon, he rightly said about protecting our colleagues in different countries is a right direction in sustaining the profession and developing it throughout the world. Kudos to the editor and staff of Quill for bringing out nice issues.
