The Society of Professional Journalists is seeking 10 interns for the SPJ News. Interns will cover the SPJ 21 Journalism Conference using a variety of digital approaches (video, social, audio, photos, written stories) that will be published online. Collegiate multimedia journalists are invited to apply for these select positions.

This year’s conference is set for October 27-30 in Washington D.C. Selected interns will cover the conference on site. The internship begins with a mandatory staff meeting on October 26, and ends October 31 at Noon.

You provide:

— Energy, talent, great ideas and a good attitude
— Your transportation to and from New Orleans
— Your own laptop for writing and production (if you cannot provide this, please alert us ahead of time)
— Any tools you have that are capable of capturing/editing video, audio and photos (particularly if you're covering the conference on site)
— Money to cover out-of-pocket expenses (example: meals not provided by SPJ)
